OLD BUSINESS

Resignation

Doug Moss has regretfully resigned as Chairman of Parent Council as he cannot fulfill his duties at this time. Loralee is Vice-Chair, and does not wish to take the Chair position.

Daryl explained the duties of the Chairman and asked if anyone was interested in the position. After a brief discussion, it was decided that we all would try to think of someone who might be interested in the position. Tabled until next meeting.

Motion

Donna motioned that we appoint Kelly Christman to be on the Disciplinary Committee until a Chairman is found. Seconded by Sherry. Carried.

REPORTS

Friends of Bassano School %uFFFD%u20AC%u201C Kelly let everyone know that the $66,000.00 Grant to resurface both tennis courts has been approved. This as well as the Casino money will be used; however, it may not be done until next year.

Kelly mentioned that there are positions available on the Friends Board, and that they need people to come out to the meetings. Daryl will put something in the next newsletter about the Friends positions.
